As Registered nurses we take the current situation with Covid-19 very seriously and it is therefore paramount that we safeguard the health and wellbeing of our patients and ourselves during these unprecedented times.

We would like to take this opportunity to reassure our patients that we will follow government guidelines as well as those published by our governing body (NMC) and the BACN.

As part of our reopening process the clinic has been fully risk assessed, we have a Covid-19 policy and procedure in place that runs alongside our existing policies and procedures to improve the already high level of service we offer.

In the coming months as we all adapt to the "new normal" we would like to share with you some of the changes you can expect when your visit the clinic and the safety measures we have in place.

  • Strictly appointment only, we have extended our treatment times to allow the clinic to be cleaned throughly between patients.

  • You will be sent a Covid-19 pre screening questionnaire to complete the day before your treatment.

  • If you or anyone you have had contact with feels unwell or displays any symptoms please contact us prior to your appointment.

  • We are sorry but we are unable to offer treatments to any patients whom are in the 'Vulnerable' or shielding category at present.

  • We are unable to treat Patients that reside in any area that is under a local "lock down"

  • You will be asked to attend alone and anyone accompanying you to remain in the car.

  • Sorry strictly no children will be allowed.

  • Please bring minimal bags etc into the clinic.

  • You will be asked to remain in your car on arrival until we call you to ensure we are ready.

  • Your temperature will be taken on arrival using a non contact thermometer.

  • You will be asked to wash your hands on arrival and on leaving, we have replaced the towel with paper towels and have a touch free soap dispenser.

  • We will provide you with a mask to put on.

  • We have positioned the consultation chair 2 meters from our desk and ask you to respect social distancing.

  • We will have full PPE on and will wash our hands.

  • Treatment times will be kept to a minimum with no "chat" during treatments, but don't worry you'll receive the same high standard service as normal.

  • We have removed all of the leaflets and magazines, price leaflets will be available on request.

  • The clinic will be deep cleaned each evening using our Fogger and anti viral disinfectant

  • A small booking fee for treatments is being implemented to ensure no shows and wasted appointments, this fee will be deducted from your treatment cost. Should you need to reschedule your appointment, if this is done within 48 hours of your treatment your fee will be transferred to your next appointment, after this it will be lost.

The above list is not exhaustive and is subject to continual risk assessment and possible changes as guidelines evolve, all treatments are subject to full medical assessments and consents being gained.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Finer Lines Aesthetics.

Nicky & Michelle.
